Behind the counter of the BWN Circulation Desk is the card catalogue of the former Library of the Department of Hungarian Studies at the University of Warsaw. It contains information on approximately 35% of the Finno-Ugric section’s collections that have not been catalogued electronically. The catalogue is organized alphabetically and thematically. Its pages contain bibliographic data and call numbers for books and periodicals published before 2008.
Publications are gradually being added to the electronic catalogue. Those not yet included can be ordered from the Library and viewed on site. The card catalogue can be searched independently or with the help of a person on duty at the Circulation Desk. To borrow a book from this catalogue outside the Library, you must wait approximately one week for electronic cataloguing.
