To access most of the collections of the Library of the Faculty of Modern Languages, you must have an active library account. All information on registering and activating a library account can be found on the University of Warsaw Library (BUW) website. Registration at the BUW automatically enrolls you in all faculty libraries of the University of Warsaw.
Students and employees of Warsaw universities (APS, AWF, PW, WUM, WAT, UKSW) can access our collections through the BiblioWawa Reciprocal Borrowing Programme (more information on the BUW website).
You can reset your password by clicking Sign in on the UW Libraries Catalogue website, and then Click here to reset password.
For members of the UW community: your library account validity is automatically extended based on the USOSweb. If this has not happened, please contact the BUW Circulation Desk or the Registration Point at the BUW. You can also contact the BWN Circulation Desk if you are from the Faculty of Modern Languages.
For others: please read the information on the BUW website.
If your library card is encoded on your UW ID card, contact your dean’s office as soon as possible to obtain a new one. With your new ID card, visit the Registration Point at the BUW to transfer your library account to the new device.
In other cases, please read the information on the BUW website.
