To fully benefit from the Library of the Faculty of Modern Languages, activate your UW library account. You can create an account online or in the Registration Point of the University of Warsaw Library (BUW).
Most items are stored in our closed stacks and must be ordered in advance through the UW Libraries Catalogue. You can collect your order at the BWN Circulation Desk after approximately 1 hour or within 5 working days. After use, return materials from the closed stacks to the Circulation Desk or to our drop box (which is also available after the Library closes).
Some items are available in the Circulation Desk and Reading Room (no need to order them). Some items can be borrowed, while others can only be viewed on site. You can photograph or scan them free of charge if necessary. After use, please place them on the library cart.
Before visiting the BWN, please read the Regulations for the use of our Library. These can be found, for example, on the pillar immediately after entering the Library.
